School named to AP District Honor Roll for second year

The high school has been named to be on the fifth annual AP District Honor Roll, joining 547 other districts across the United States and Canada.

These districts are being recognized for increasing access to AP coursework and having their students each earn a three or higher on the AP test.

Administration is looking to improve even more so the school can earn a spot on the honor roll for next year, according to Principal Matt Durst.

“We are actually trying to adding two new classes next year—AP Psychology and AP World History,” Durst said. “They still need to be board approved, though.”

This is the second year that the school was named to the honor roll.
