Track and field coach running down recovery road

Track and Field coach Bob Holland is on the road to recovery after suffering a stroke two weeks ago on October 2.

Holland was in the hospital for about a week and was just released last Monday.

Holland’s symptoms started as not being able to say words, which was when he decided to go to the hospital. They found he had a blockage in his brain and the doctors got to him in time before any permanent damage was done.

“Holland has to get his carotid artery drained to make sure no more damage is done,” said Mr. Marvin Bright.

Holland is on his way to recovery and hopefully will be back for track season.
