There are quite a few eighth graders who are up in the high school taking advanced classes.

“There are 13 or 14 eighth graders taking advanced classes. There are even a few seventh graders up in the high school,” said Principal Matthew Durst.

Some of the classes that these accelerated little scholars are taking include science, math, history and English.

There was a need for new staff considering all the new bodies that would be taking classes here at the high school.

“We can use all the help we can get,” said Durst.
