The Story of the Ace

Over 90 years ago, the school sports editor for the newspaper and yearbook decided the sports teams needed a nickname. Since the “ace” stands for the highest card in most games, he wrote about the “Blue Aces” in his sports column. Granville High School has been referred to as the Blue Aces ever since.
